Trevor Hoffman is probably the second-most beloved Padre of all time. He recorded 552 saves as the closer of the Padres and was the only player on all four NL West Champion teams in 1996, 1998, 2005, and 2006. He currently plays for the Brewers.

In a Gaslamp Ball poll asking to rank him on a scale from Zero to Tony Gwynn, 46% of all voters gave Trevor a 9, which was the most consensus achieved on any poll. 86% of all voters ranked him an 8 or higher, which is the most of any poll.[1]
