Mike Adams aka "Smooth" is a former Padres relief pitcher. He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on July 29, 1978. He is very much a Leo. He attended Texas A&M University–Kingsville.

On July 18, 2006, the Padres stole Mike from the Indians for right-handed pitcher Brian Sikorski. Best trade evar.

Nicknamed "Smooth" on GLB, because he looks like the cartoon camel in Camel cigarette ads. Also known as "Ali G" due to his extreme resemblance to the British comedian.

Mike is eastbaysd's favorite player.

On July 31st, 2011, Adams was traded to the Texas Rangers for two minor league pitchers, Joe Wieland and Robbie Erlin.[1]
