Huston Street

From Gaslamp Ball Wiki - A Wiki for San Diego Padres Fans

Huston Street is a pitcher for the San Diego Padres. After spending three years of his career with the rival Colorado Rockies, Street was traded to the Padres in exchange for former first round pick P Nick Schmidt.

Street was immediately installed as the team's closer. He accumulated 80 saves for the club over parts of 3 seasons. He left as the team's leader in save percentage and closer ERA.[1] He will be remembered as steadfast holder of the closer torch that has become a part of Padres history with the likes of Rollie Fingers, Goose Gossage, Mark Davis, Trevor Hoffman and Heath Bell as well as a 2 time All Star and the man behind #SpyOnCarlos.[2]

In July 2014, Street was traded to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim along with P Trevor Gott in exchange for 2B Taylor Lindsey, P R.J. Alvarez, SS Jose Rondon and P Elliot Morris. The trade was rated 87% fresh.[3]
