Cory Luebke, a left-handed starting pitcher, debuted with the Padres in 2010.[1] He pitched very well for the 2010 team that nearly made the playoffs and was a stud on the 2011 club. Before the start of the 2012 season he was given a contract extensions worth $12 million that bought out his arbitration years.[2] However, during that 2012 season Luebke hurt his elbow and would need Tommy John Surgery to repair it.[3] There was talk that the the injury came in one game versus the Phillies and ace Roy Halladay as a "result of trying to throw too hard and love too deeply".[4] In 2014, Luebke would require a second Tommy John surgery after the first one failed to take.[5]

If you shorten his name to Lueb, it sounds like something you would use to make the sex.
